Laying the foundations for our children to be confident, respectful and to achieve their potential.
Our Activities
We have very busy and varied sessions at Ducklings and whilst this timetable shows a few of our activities it is an outline for the main framework of our session. Weather permitting, we use the outdoor play area as an outdoor learning environment as often as possible.
Morning Sessions
9.00 – Children’s arrival is logged in the register.
Good morning children, register taken, weather and calendar time.
Sound and theme of the week.
Story and singing.
Free play inside and/or outside.
Snack time
Phonics
Free play inside and/or outside.
Tidy up time. Children’s work is laid out
Story and singing.
12.00 – Home time.
Lunch Club
Lunch Club is between 12.00 and 13.00 pm.
It is available five days a week. The children bring in their own packed lunches which are eaten in the company of a teacher. Parents may pick up their children at any time during this session.
Afternoon Sessions
13.00 – session starts and the younger children join the afternoon session

Singing and group story time.
15.00 – Home time
