Mental Health & Wellbeing

Wellbeing is the experience of health, happiness, and prosperity.

At Sarratt Ducklings, we strive to provide the highest quality of pastoral care. Children and adults are supported with physical and emotional well-being. Our caring and supportive environment enables our children to feel happy and safe.

Wellbeing includes having good mental health, high life satisfaction, a sense of meaning or purpose, and ability to manage stress. More generally, well-being is just feeling well.

Support for children

Promoting well-being and positive mental health is woven into school life throughout the day. From a positive welcome at the school gates to valuing efforts and achievements through praise and encouragement in the classroom, we strive to make our environment the best it can be for our children.

We also offer more specialist and focused support to ensure all children feel valued and supported to become confident and respectful individuals who achieve their potential

Communication

If you would like support with any issue, school or home related, please get in touch with a member of the team by email ducklings@sarratt.herts.sch.uk or phone (01923 260885)
